Hendersonville Family Portrait: The Gallo Family
Get ready to scroll, y’all, because I could not cut down my number of favorite photos to include in this blog.
I love Kelly and Anthony. I loved being their wedding photographer, and I loved that they reached out to do a family session this year. Even better, this sweet couple was willing to drive to the mountains for what turned out to be a pretty epic apple orchard Hendersonville family portrait with their son… who happens to be (conveniently) going through a pretty hardcore apple phase right now.
Apple phase? You ask.
Oh yes, and this little boy had me at “apple hat.” Turns out, ten out of ten toddlers strongly recommend wearing freshly picked apples as a hat to establish their quality, and frankly, you can’t argue with science.
We had so much fun, and Ben loved frolicking through the orchard and picking apples. He even high-fived his mom’s belly during some maternity photos, which stole my heart.
It was so great to see Kelly and Anthony again, and to meet their adorable son. Our family session was made all the more special as both the Gallos and I have great things to celebrate despite this roller coaster year: adding baby number two to the Gallo family, and my wedding and mountain house! I really do love catching up with my brides and grooms down the road and swapping life updates.
And as a side note, if you’ve never gone apple picking (which I hadn’t, before that shoot with my parents), you are missing out. It’s so fun, and a lot of the orchards have corn mazes, apple cannons, and some really delightful treats. Apple donuts are the stuff dreams are made of.
Thank you again to Kelly and Anthony for trusting me to capture this special time in their lives and letting me drag them all over the apple orchard! Y’all are the best.
