David Strauss
David Strauss began his photographic journey during his studies at the College of Charleston. After graduation, David taught English in Korea and travelled extensively, which shaped his skills and perspective as a photographer. After returning to Charleston in 2011, David built a career as a full-time event photographer, drawn to the fast pace, nuanced relationships, and technical demands of capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments under pressure.
In addition to his work as an event photographer, David collaborates with one of the world’s largest photography, industry news, and education platforms, Fstoppers.com. Through this role, he films tutorials with world-renowned photographers and industry experts, documenting a wide range of real-world shooting scenarios that demand precision, creativity, and the ability to perform under pressure.
David brings this wealth of nuanced technical knowledge to every shoot, along with a positive attitude, a love of storytelling, an infallible work ethic, and a genuine love of people.
However, David is, first and foremost, a husband and father to two beautiful daughters. Outside of life with a camera, David loves travel, DIY projects on his historic home, fitness challenges, learning new things, embracing new experiences, and snacks.
Priscilla Thomas
Priscilla Thomas is an associate photographer and digital technician specializing in corporate events, conferences, brand storytelling, and executive communications. She brings nearly two decades of professional experience to every project, combining strong visual storytelling with seamless production support, efficient workflow management, and exceptional client care.
Priscilla’s background in photojournalism and visual communication fuels her ability to anticipate moments, work confidently in fast-paced environments, and deliver polished, consistent imagery that aligns with each client’s brand and objectives. Her experience spans multinational corporations, higher education, lifestyle brands, nonprofit organizations, and executive-level engagements, where discretion, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
Icelandic-born and raised in New Mexico and South Carolina in an Air Force family, Priscilla developed an early love for adventure and storytelling. This eventually led her to study at Ohio University in a graduate program for visual communication with a speciality in photojournalism and multimedia. Since establishing her photography career, she has partnered with hundreds of clients and creative teams, building long-term relationships through trust, precision, and collaboration.
Now in her eighteenth year as a photographer, Priscilla remains driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to create meaningful, purposeful images that support each client’s story, message, and mission.
Additionally, Priscilla has also foster-failed so many times, she and her husband are the proud pack leaders of 6 dogs and 3 cats.
